Rhonda Omslaer Warchola was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
in 1964. She graduated from Sewickley Valley Hospital School
of Nursing and received her B.S.N degree, summa cum laude, from
La Roche College. She has ten years of combined emergency/critical
care nursing experience. In 1995, Mrs. Warchola received her
J.D. degree from University of Dayton.
Immediately thereafter, she began practicing law in Orlando,
Florida, primarily in the area of medical malpractice and continued
to do so until September 1999. From 1996 to 1999, she also volunteered
as a guardian ad litem, providing legal representaion for abused
and neglected children. During 1998-1999, she was an adjunct
instructor at Southern College where she taught civil litigation,
torts, and family law. During that same year, she performed
consulting work in the area of risk management for Physicians
Support Network. Mrs. Warchola has given seminars to physicians,
nurses, and paralegals on medical/legal issues.
In 2000 she gave birth to her son, Jacob Alexander, who is
pictured in the photograph. She currently works from home as
a medical/legal consultant and lives in Tierra Verde with her
son and her husband, Robert.
Rhonda and several of her friends who are also new mothers
visit area nursing homes to cheer up residents, who delight
in the company of the babies.
