Ms. Balis educated senior citizens in groups or individually in computer technology skills, programs, applications, and Internet usage. Developed "Computers Don't Byte, Computers Made Easy, and Keyboarding Programs" (for senior citizens; provided links to many free Internet tutorials and other instructional sites along with information about organizations, research techniques and other resources. She is an Arthritis Education and Wellness Advocate: provided transportation for members of the community to the Arthritis Action Plan (NAAP) and local arthritis support group which assists those with arthritis osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, rheumatoid arthritis, related conditions and disabilities to develop and access resources about proper diet, nutrition, treatments, adaptive devices and alternative therapies.
