"They are the most generous, caring leaders of a family I've ever seen. They are the glue that holds our family together in a world that could tear us apart. They both taught school - Richard taught 5th & 6th grade & Verona taught kindergarten & special ed.
  They foster parented 5 Navajo children to provide better education than was otherwise available. This was part of a church organized program done without compensation."
