| "Denice crocheted bears, dolls, & blankets for Dr. Laura Schlessinger's 'My Stuff Bag' organization & donated shoe boxes to Operation Care Lift. Both help children. Non-recent charity work included volunteering at the nursing home in Laurie, Missouri and at the senior citizens center. She also drives 3 hours to KC to spend the week helping her mother who has emphysema. | "Ernie used to play the harmonica.
