"I have always thought of writing a book about my grandparents and the life they have led. My grandmother, whom we all call Moremama, and my grandfather, a.k.a. Granddaddy, are the most beautiful people I have ever met or heard of. They both have hearts of gold I want the whole world to know that I am so thankful to them and our entire family and community will always be better because of their influence. My grandfather and grandmother were married 60 years ago and they are still so in love. My Moremama ahd hear failure 3 years ago and since then has had a stroke and her kidneys failed. Granddaddy still works full time as an opthamologist at Wal-Mart in McComb. His devotion to her care and well being is amazing. Joy has been involved with fundraising, hospital volunteering, church volunteering, garden lovers club, crecite club. Wendell has been involved with the Rotary club, church volunteering, hospital volunteering, and has given free medical care to those in need."
