"My grandfather is a great man who is a veteran of WWII and worked all his life to make sure that his family was well taken care of. He got up early and worked very hard but always still finds time to spend with his family. I remember great summer vacations growing up and family vacations and even just time listening to him sing with my grandmother. He has always been a rock for our family and especially for me.
  My grandmother is a remarkable woman who is stronger than I could have ever imagined. She raised 2 daughters who have grown up to be strong remarkable women in their own right. She did this while her husband was at war. She even had her first child while he was away. She has the most kind and generous heart of anyone I have ever met. She is also a fabulous cook and the family considers it a treat when we get what we like to call 'Mammaw Meals.' We usually get them for our birthdays and every UT home football game."
