Tanner is in the 1st grade and she likes art, and she's proud of her fish, an oscar a red devil, and a pirahna. She likes swimming, cheerleading and singing. She's in the Sunbeam Troop with the Salvation Army.

Tanner's paternal grandparents are Joseph & Evelyn Johnson. Joseph is a retired chef; Evelyn is a retired school teacher. Their advice to Tanner is, "Education is important. Relationship to God is important. And stay close to family."

Tanner's maternal grandparents are Patricia & James Williams; they have five children and 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Mr. Williams takes senior citizens to doctor appointments, to church, for groceries, and other errands. Patricia works with foster children.
